NIST Utilizing SETECS Products in Developing PIV Certification Standards
SETECS, Inc., developer of advanced Internet security software products, today announced a Personal Identification Verification (PIV)-ready solution that will enable government agencies and contractors to meet their PIV requirements deadline. The solution called OneCARD is designed for ease of use, seamless modular integration, scalability, and investment protection. SETECS, Inc. CEO and CTO, Sead Muftic, has been working closely with the National Institute of Standards in Technology (NIST) to assist in the development of PIV standards for all government agencies and contractors required by Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD 12). NIST utilized SETECS, Inc.’s OneCARD solution for testing and defining the standards that were recently released (see www.nist.gov).

Washington, DC- February 3, 2005 The Washington DC Technology Council today announced the selection of 10 high growth companies to present at the Early Stage Capital Forum on February 11 at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center. The Forum will include a keynote luncheon speech by David Steinberg, CEO of InPhonic Inc., panel discussions on key issues, presentations of emerging companies seeking equity capital, and many networking opportunities. July 30, 2004 -- SETECS, Inc., a privately held Internet security technology company delivering end-to-end security software products to IT Vendors and Channel Partners today announced it had received a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grant from the Department of Energy. The grant will support research and development the STONE (Security Technologies for Open Networking Environments) Project. Within the project SETECS will establish a concept, develop a methodology and implement a comprehensive middleware security platform for Web services. In addition, SETECS will convert its current OneGroup products to Web-based applications: secure instant messaging, secure white board, and secure sharing of Web documents.
